Website ‘Opens it’s Doors’   February 1st, 2009

open_doorThe ICOC Singles Today website would like to welcome you to our corner of the net in which we want to highlight the happenings within the different singles groups from the ICOC family of Churches.

Not only will we have the latest news, pictures, and audio – but we’ll be chronicling the events both upcoming and past with reports, clips, and stories.  And because it’s also geared toward the ‘younger generation’ – we have incorporated a special version for viewing on mobile phones.  Check it out – pull this site up on your phone!

Please check back often as we’re still very ‘rough’ around the edges.

This is great, is it only for disciples? I hope this doesn’t come across as critical; I’m only curious.. how is this different from dtspace.net?

Mica – those are great questions! In response to your first one – I don’t think anything is ‘just for disciples’; especially when it comes to the web. This website is setup in response to the International Singles Conference 2008 where a leadership team was setup to help the Singles Ministries of the ICOC. This site is focused exclusively on the Singles Ministries – hoping to be a ‘one stop shop’ for the events, news, directory, etc from these groups. Hope this also answers your second question – in that we’re not a ’social network’. You won’t find Forums, information about other ministries, etc.

Great questions – these are helping to build our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) area….Thanks!

This is cool because I’m from the Maui(Hawai’i) church and we have 13 single disciples on our island..So being able to see other single disciples worldwide brings loads of encouragement…
