They Were Single, Too – A Look at Nehemiah and Jeremiah

We are inundated with conflicting views on single life. Basically, “single” means simply that one is not living with husband or wife. One might be a widow, a divorcee, or never been married. Last summer, I shared with my congregation a sermon about New Testament role models, such as the Apostle Paul, about Martha & Mary, Anne at the Alter, and John the Babtist. All these New Testament heroes were singles—as was, of course, Jesus the Christ.
Today, I want to encourage all church members by sharing about two inspiring Old Testament figures who were single and super role models for Christians in all our fellowships worldwide today.

Dubai Singles Retreat Bears Fruit of all Kinds

Las Vegas Looking to Expand in 2010

The Greater Las Vegas Single’s Ministry is passionate about making a difference in this city and we need your help. Our Single’s Ministry is going to make a difference by serving those in need, wither they are in the church or the community. We hope the singles we invite, serve, and build friendships with will see we are not another Sunday experience church but a body of believers who live out our faith. We want our single’s ministry to shine like the bright stars of the night! “Our Father” will be our example.
Currently, the Las Vegas Singles’ Ministry has twenty one disciples… not impossible to reach out to all the singles here, but some help would be a blessing from heaven.

Latin America Singles Conference – Lima, Peru – Nov 5-8, 2009

Starting November 5th through 8th, the International Church of Christ in Lima, Peru will be hosting a Latin American Singles Conference entitled, “Puro Corazon” (With All the Heart). The title theme breaks down into two main thoughts:
1) Answering the call to love our God with all our heart
2) Always searching / growing to maintain a pure heart in all areas of our lives
The conference will start with a historic tour of Lima & Miraflores on Thursday and will later include Olympic Games – concluding with a Party / Dance (where everyone dresses in white clothing).
